🚆 Access by public transport
♦ From Paris
Take the RER B line towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
Get off at Gif-sur-Yvette station.
Then, allow about 15 minutes on foot to reach the CNRS campus (take Rue Alphonse Pécard, rue Neuve then Avenue de la Terrasse)

💡 The RER B connects Paris directly to Gif-sur-Yvette (a line that also serves the airports and several major Parisian stations).

 

♦From the Saclay plateau
Take bus line 4610/4611.
Get off at the "Fond Fanet" or "Croix de Fer" stops.

 

🚗 Access by car

The campus is easily accessible from the N118 national road (south-west of Paris).
Coming from Paris, take the N118 towards Bordeaux/Saclay/Orsay, then follow the signs for Gif-sur-Yvette.


📍 From central Paris to Gif-sur-Yvette by car: approximately 45–60 minutes depending on traffic.

✈️ Access from airports

✈️ From Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)

Take Orlyval (automatic shuttle) to Antony station.
At Antony, take the RER B line towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
Get off at Gif-sur-Yvette (then walk 15 minutes to the campus).

 🕐 Approximate journey time: 45–55 minutes total (Orlyval + RER B + walking).

✈️ From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Take the RER B line (located at the airport RER station) directly to Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
Get off at Gif-sur-Yvette (then walk 15 minutes to the campus).

 🕐 Approximate journey time: 70–80 minutes total (RER B + walking).
